Poems

Where gesture becomes language and feeling takes form

Poems is not simply a collection—it is a threshold.

These ten works mark the moment I stepped fully into my life as an artist, choosing intuition over expectation and letting emotion move freely through form.

Each piece begins in improvisation. Watercolor and ink are poured, splashed, and allowed to roam, creating fields of spontaneous movement and color. This first layer is raw, instinctual—like the early pulse of a poem before it finds its structure.

Later, I return with black ink, tracing the echoes of those gestures. Lines arc, spiral, collide, and dissolve. Shapes emerge that feel almost sentient—breathing, leaning, reaching. The compositions resolve themselves slowly, as if revealing the poem they always intended to be.

To me, each painting is a stanza from an inner landscape—melodic, layered, emotional. They were created during a time when I was learning to hear my own voice again, and to trust it.

But like true poems, these works are porous. They leave room for you to enter, to find your own narrative or sensation: an echo of memory, a pulse of recognition, a sense of possibility.

These paintings are an invitation into conversation, connection, and the quiet honesty of being human.
